WaterGear Vampire Bat Custom Wakeskate Graphic

As seen in Alliance magazine - New for 2009 we have launched a new addition to our Wakeskate product range allowing you to PIMP YOUR RIDE before having it delivered!

We can add range of custom graphics to your brand new wakeskate deck-top when you order a wakeskate from us. We customised a few boards in 2008 and got some really good feedback from the riders so we have perfected the technique and it's now available as product for everyone buying their wakeskate from WaterGear!

We have always thought it a shame that wakeskates have such amazing graphics on the base but the deck-top is so plain, especially when you don’t see the base graphics much while you’re riding! After using skates emblazoned with our initial designs we realised it actually makes it easier to catch your skate at the right time during tricks. Instead of a dark deck-top set against dark water, the light wood that shows underneath the graphic cut-out makes it easier for the rider to see where their board is in the air. It also looks good when you’re chilling on the dock waiting for your next set!

We started researching the best methods to cut these custom designs into grip-tape in 2007 and now have a very effective technique that preserves the grip while making sure the designs will last as long as the rest of the grip-tape. Thanks to our technique even the designs with fine details don't get ripped up by those Nike 6.0s!
